AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION

On Wednesday evening next a home hygiene ciass will commence work at the lecture hall of the St. John Ambulance Association, and all interested in the work are invited to enrol. At the meeting of the committee held last evening the date for the annual meeting was fixed for 17th July, His Excellency the Gover-nor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, will attend. Sir Charle3 is the Dominion president of the association, and during his stay in New Zealand has taken a keen interest in the work of St. John. The secretary reported that examinations had just been completed for ladies' and men's urst aid. classes, the attendances at which had been most satisfactory. The home nursing class will start next Thursday, and ladies wishing to join are asked to attend or communicate with the office, from which full particulars may be obtained.
