(Special to "The Evening Post.") v / MASTEETON, This Day. "It should be cut-out altogether," said the principal of the Wairarapa High School (Dr. S. H. Uttley) at a meeting of the Wairarapa Secondary Education Board last night, with reference to the recent explosion at the High School during an experiment on, the synthesis of water, in which a girl was injured in the 1 eye: Dr. Uttley said he had decided to discontinue the experiment at the school. In that view, he added, he was supported, -unofficially, by an inspector. -

It was stated by the teacher who carried'out the experiment that it was conducted most carefully, according to the detailed instructions given in Caradus's book on experimental science.
