OPPOSITION TO JUDGE
ARBITRATION COURT

AUCKLAND, This Day. A circular has been issued by the Auckland trade union executives to the labour organisations throughout the Dominion, and to the Prime Minister, the Minister of Labour, and the members of the Parliamentary; Labour? Party, drawing attention to what are considered anomalies in the recent decisions of the Arbitration. Court,-parti-cularly in the Auckland milk-round men's and stonemasons' disputes.,lt is suggested that the Government should inquire into these decisions, and, if ia agreement .with the executive's opin» ions, remove Mr. Justice Frazer from the presidency of the Court. .
They declare that in many instances provisions have been inserted in the awards against .the -weight of evidence presented, and that in industries where the awards provide for long working hours the overtime clauses are a disgrace.
