1 Company donating £100 for Greymouth and an anonymous local citizen £50. The Mayor is calling a public meeting for to-morrow to deal with eases of distress and organise reconstruction -work. Country reports show that Lake Brunner on Monday .morning dipped in the centre and then, reacting, shot a column of water into the air. At Tckinga two bushmen saw a crovasso open up nearly- two chains wide and close up again, leaving only a narrow crack. The HoDouu Slucing Company's claim south of Lake Brunner had its face pulverised for the whole length, the debris running a distance of 200 yards from the terrace and covering the nozzles and- plant in places to a depth of 40 feet. ....
