.The earthquake, did such damage to the schools at Westport that they have been condemned and some COO .children, have been missing school on that account.. The' Defence Department has, therefqre,: arranged that the Drill Hall at Westport shall-be-placed at the disposal of the' Nelson: Education Board for use as a'temporary school.
