SHORTT'S THEATRE.
The screen version of the famous Pinero Tilay, "Trelawney of the Wells," starring Norma Shearer and Ralph Forbes. Is now being shown at Shortt's Theatre. Norma Shearer gives a magnificent performance, she looks the part to perfection, and her. playing of it Is all that one could wish for. Ralph Forbes Is every much as good as Miss Shearer. O. P. Eeggle as the stern old Victorian Is seen at his best, and everyone knows what this distinguished actor Is. capable of. The settings are in every instance appropriate and j>harmilng, the costumes, furniture, appointments— In fact every detail of the Victorian era being most faithfully reproduced, and the lighting and photography are quite perfect. Tim M'Coy has the leading role In "Spoilers of the Plains," an historical romance.
