SHIP'S ENGINES STOP
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) " DT7NEDIN, 16th June. An unusual mishap occurred to the carg-s steamer Valacia in the harbour this yiorning. The vessel left the berth at 11.15 a.m. bound for BluH, but had not proceeded far when the engines ceased to function. She was assisted back to the wharf by a tug, aha it was *hen discovered that the intake through •which water is introaucea for the engine condenser circulation system was obstructed. A diver went down in the afternoon, and a few minutes were sufficient to remove the obstruction. The Valacia will sail to-morrow."
