LONDON, 4th June. . Lord Bledisloe, the leading authority on the meat trade, is joining the Brit- 1" ish National Union of Farmers 1930 tour of New Zealand. He has accepted the executive's invitation to undertake the leadership of a party. It consists of fifty British, fifteen Canadian, and fifteen South African fanners, and will arrive in" Auckland on 20th February, 1930.
Lord Bledisloe, formerly the Bight Hoiw Sir Charles Bathhurst, bu beea chairman of the Imperial Grasslud Association since 1928. He was Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture from 1924 to 1928, mi i» one of the chief authorities on agricnl. tnre in: Britain. :.■■..
