This would directly affect both Now Zealand and Canada, and both'would ship more heavily to Lohdon, .'maldng competition still more acute for Australia. He urged Australian dairy farmers to adopt more scientific methods of cropping for ensilage and top-dressing, following closely the lilies of New Zealand farmers, and thereby be prepared for eventualities. Mr. C. Meares; described the great strides' ,the "butter industry had made in.New Zealand, and also :the measures by which this had been attained.
