HORSE IMPOUNDED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUECH, 3rd June: . The horse Imperial Thorpe was impounded by the stewards after the running of the Telegraph Handicap at the Canterbury Park. Trotting . Club's Meeting to-day. Before the race the horse was delayed in'the\ birdcage and examined by the stewards, but was eventually allowed' to start. It is understood that v the stewards are doubtful about'the identity of the horse, alleging that he does'not in all respects correspond with the description of Imperial Thorpe on' the registration form.
