The teams for the trial match, from which an eleven will be chosen for the first match against the South Africans, have been selected. They are-— England.—White (captain), Hobbs, Hammond, Hendren, Sutcliffe, Larwood Tate Geary, Duckworth, Leyland, Mead .h. Tyldesley, and Freeman. The Best.—Fender (captain) Duleepsinhji, Wyatt (Warwickshire), Killick, Eobins (Middlesex), A. M. Crawley (Oxford), Dawson (Leicester) Ames (Kent), Mitchell (Derbyshire) Goddard (Gloucester), and Voce (Notts).
