The trail led toßrooklyn and around the Town Belt, via Island Bay, Lyall Bay, Newtown, Park,-, and: Constable street to the back of; the^Public Hospital. About 200 yards from home,a run-in was held, with the following result:—Swain 1, J. 'M. Joseph 2, Knowles 3. Sinclair, Jelly, and Uittmgs ran well. L. Todd took things very easily and, kept well, in the rear of the slow pack, who again were not caught by the fast pack. Next week's run will be from Eastbourne. Some of the faster men the lighthouse, but the majority will take the Butterfly Creek trail.
