KTTGBY, 27th May. The Hon. Mervyn Herbert, youngest son of the fourth Earl Carnarvon, died at Borne, aged 47, from pneumonia following malaria, which he contracted on a journey from Albania, where -he was a well-known and frequent visitor.

The Hon. Mervyn Herbert was in the diplomatic service at Borne.
