STEAMER STRIKES ROCK

SEATTLE (Washington), 26th May. The Alaska Steamship Company's liner Aleutian struck a! rock in TJyak Bay, Alaska, on Sunday and sank. Her crow, numbering 135, and 16 passengers were rescued.
