WHAT DENMARK IS DOING-
Australian Press Association.
COPENHAGEN, 25th April.
While tho Great, Powers are arguing about disarmament, Denmark made it an election issue, upon which the Socialists' combination with the Eadical-Lib-erai Party secured 77 seats, and all the other parties 08. The Prime Minister,, Herr T. Madsen-Mygdal, has accordingly tendered his resignation.
It seems, certain that the King will ask the Socialist leader, HerrT. Stauning, to form a Cabinet, after which .the Socialists will introduce a Bill trans forming the army into a, police force and .the navy into coastguards. This, the Senate is. practically certain, to. re-, je'ct'. ■ The Socialists will then use administrative means to reduce the expenditure on armaments to a minimum.
