• The skeleton of .'Ned. ..Kelly, Australia's most notorious bushranger, who was hanged in Melbourne Gaol in 1880; was unearthed from' the flagged yard of the gaol. The bones wero exposed when a steam shovel toro the lid from, the rough coffin. Immediately the bones were taken by the workmen as mementoes, even the t«eth 'being remove^ from the-jaws.
