WARMING TO CHINESE

AUCKLAND, This Day.
Two Chinese who had overstayed their permits in New Zealand were each fined £25 at the Police Court today by Mr. M'Kean, S.M., who said that the lines in future cases would be much heavier. Wong Dwin was two years four months over his time, and Young Ming exceeded his time by ten months.
