W. Mitchell, a labourer, living at 36, Biehmond ■ street, Petone, received a lacerated wound on his left ankle as a result of a motor-lorry in which he was riding overtaking and running into another lorry on the Petono Esplanade at 8.30 last evening. After being attended to by Dr. Harding, of Petone, ho was brought into tho Hospital by the City Ambulance. It has been decided to hold the annual meeting and annual function of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday evening, 16th April. Amongst those who haya been invited to be present is the Prime Minister (the'Ri'Bht'Hcrai Sir Joseph Ward)>
