(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. M&rlborough's absolute unanimity and keen delight at the Government's decision to proceed with the South. Main Trunk Railway is being demonstrated at every meeting of local bodies. During the last few days resolutions congratulating the Government on its .decision, and expressing tho utmost confidence in the future of the line have been passed by the Marlborough provincial executive of tho Farmers' Union, tho Marlborough A. and P. Association, tho Blenheim Farmers' Union, and the Blenheim Borough Council, while there will not bo a meeting during the next month at which the matter will not bo mentioned.
The Blenheim Borough. Council unanimously resolved last night to congratulate the Prime Minister and his Government on its decision, and to assure them that the inhabitants of the borough are convinced of the national importance of the lino, and are confident that its completion is fully; warranted in the interests of the economic development of the Dominion.
