BROKEN BYLAWS

Offenders'against the by-laws were dealt with in the Magistrate's Court by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M. For allowing stock to wander, Edward R. Lockyer Waa fined 15s, Walter Beavis and Albert G. Gooch, 10s each, Ernest E. Lewer 6s, and James Feely, Septimus Knight, and George Huxfovd (two charges) were ordered to pay costs only, 10s each. , ■. j '. . .

Horton 10a. Fines of 10s each were imposed on Walter Ljidbrook and Harry R. Tunley, for having no warning device on their vehicles, and William J. Charters, who left his car parked where it obstructed the entrance to business premises. Joe Lee Bros, were fined £5 for exposing foodstuffa to possible contamination, and Cyril D. Austin, £1, for driving without a license.
