PICEON RACING
On Saturday laht the Wellington Homing Pigeon Society flew its iinal race of the first hamper from Te Kuiti, an airline distance .of 209 miles. Thirteen lofts were represented by 39 birds. The email entry was the result of a very hard race from Taumarumii, in which the losses were heavy. The result of the Te Kuiti race was as follows:—Mr. Gfeorge Wilson's bluo eh. hen, 235, Oh 12min 40sec, 1; Mr. F. Collins's black pied cock, 199, 6h 13rain lscc, 2; Mr. C. Eglinlon's blue eh. cock, 365, 6h 13min 35sec, 3; Mr. G. Wilson's red eh. lieu, 224, 6h 13min 54sec, 4; Mr. Clcraents's blue eh., hen, 294, 6h 14niin 53sec, 5; Messrs. Perrett and Gaison's blue eh. hen, 334, 6h 15min 29sec, 6.
