SUBDIVISION PROPOSAL

LEVIN, This Day. A conference of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the county and borough councils, returned soldiers, A. and P. Association, High • School .Committee, aud the' Farmers' Union last night discussed the proposed disposal of the Central Development Farm, which the Government was authorised by legislation last session to subdivide and lease. A resolution was passed which favoured the disposal of seven hundred acres for farming purposes, but strongly urging that an area of a hundred acres should be reserved, half for educational purposes and half for mammal■ experiments, with a sufficient area for hr.-Hh and other camps now held at tli-- iunn. ... : .
