A report on the, finance and operations of the New Zealand Perpetual Forests, Ltd., at 22nd September last, states that the paid-up capital was £172,638. Debenture bond capital, being net bond sales to 22nd September was 106,515 bonds, representing £2,775,279. ■ Trustee reserve bonds representing £8 6s 8d of fully paid bonds and instalments towards reserve funds on bonds -nearing completion, amount to ■£191,004, including New Zealand and Australian .Government securities £107,062, New Zealand local body secuurities £19,----400, first mortgages £37,250, and uninvestedfunds with the trustees £7292. The company had 155,671 acres of land under its 'control. During the four years 1925-28 inclusive actual planting covered 105,781 acres. The trustees of the bondholders have issued reports expressing satisfaction with the work carried out.
