Autumn Meeting. Cobranveil waa third early, but won the Autumn Hurdles nicely. It was his rider's (Butler) fourth win in the race in five years. There was a splendid contest for the C. M. Lloyd Stakes. Mollison waa second early in the race, and led at the distance. Gothic was last In the straight, but ran up to dead-heat with the leader in the last stride. Sectional times were: First two furlongs, 2(i%sec; next two, 24^sec; last- lour, 40'isef; concluding six, lmin .o%sef. ■ Spanish Galleon was outside on the rail, and led throughout in the Ascotvnle Stakes, to win brilliantly. , His owner, ]■:. M. Pearce, won the race last year on Mollison. The jockey, Wilson, had a previous success with Cydcn. . Mondlaga . was last to enter the straight In the Autumn Handicap, but won brilliantly. He was ridden by tho New JCcalander, Ashley Reed, and owned by T. M. Burke. L In tho Governor's Plate, which was an exerciso gallop, Strephon led all tho way. Ho-has now recorded six wins and one second In nine 'Starts. Hlswinnlugs approximate £10,000 in stakes. The first four furlongs were run in 57% sec, tho last six in lmin 14r;isec, and tho last four in 48 % sec. Headmore had a big lead early in the River Handicap, but tired, and Harbinger won by a narrow margin. His owner is the V.R.C. commltteeman, E. Manifold, who won the Grand National' Steeplechase . with Corudjlll.
