BROKEN BYLAWS

Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with in the Magistrate's court yesterday by Mr; F. K. Hunt, S.M.

For-exposing food, not properly covered, for sale, Simon Edilson was fined £1.

"I might hava had an inquest on you," said the Magistrate to Claude Mallard, who was fined £1 for negligent driving. For a similar offence Jens H. Peterson was also fined £1.

Lionel T. H. Bramley,' for failing 'to stop on request, was fined 10s. For similar offences John R. Burley and Robert Lee were each oidercd to pay costs only, 10s., ■■■■ •■;••:..■■.; :

Fines of 10s each were imposed on James Martin, for'parking iv a prohibited street, and Unka Morau,' who obstructed a crossing with his fruit barrow.
