QUEEN'S THEATRE.
No picture play has eomo to Wellington roccntlv preceded by such Uuditory comments as "Komanco of the Underworld," which will have its first screening locally to-night at the Queen s Theatre. Mary Astor, Robert Elliott; and Ben Bard are tho featured players In this story of the underworld, with Oscar Apfcl and Helen Lynch in other prominent roles. Tho story is of a girl who is forced to make her living as an entertainer In a "sneakoasy." who tires of it all, tries to redeem herself in a new environment, meets and marries a good man, but who is over in fear of a former acquaintance, "Derby Dan," a philanderer, thief, and blackmailer. Tho second feature is "Wild West Komance," a colourful romance of tho West, with thrills and excitement. A fine cast of wellknown players support' tho star, Rex Bell, Including Caryl Lincoln, in tho feminine lead. Many beautiful scenes of mountain, plain, and desert serve as backgrounds to'tho action of the story.
