■ Mrs. Kilmartin (formerly Miss Beatrice Elliot) returned to New Zealand by tho TJlimaroa, accompanied by her niece, Miss Katharine Mackenzie. Mrs. Kilmurtiu gave a number of song recitals-in Sydney, and other parts of New South Wales with great success, and will probably give ono in Wellington before her departure for New York by the Aorangi in May.
