It was decided to call upon Carl Nordquist, owner of Laplander, to appear before the next meeting of the board to show cause why lie should not withdraw or substantiate a statement made by him that Bryee had spoken to the ♦judge at tho conclusion of the Onehunga Handicap and everyone had- seen him except the stipendiary stewards.
