CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
Mr. J. M. Samson, who is leaving New Zealand for a year, tendered his resignation as a member of the Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association to-day. The chairman of the .board, Mr. J. H. Williams, said that Mr. Samson had given many.years of faithful service. He was.,a"' good sportsman and was loved by. all members. The resignation was, accepted with regret. . -.'.
