ISLAND BAY FIRE STATION

In reply to a request from Island Bay for a new fire station, the Fire Board to-day informed the writers that it was the intention of the board to proceed with the erection of the new station in Adolaide road immediately after the completion of the' Northland station, which it was Imped to proceed with in tho coming financial year. It was stated that tho Adelaide road site had been definitely decided upon.
