WHANGAREI, This Day. Work ceased at the Wilson's Portland Cement Company's mine at Hikurangi last night. The employees struck on the ground that a breach of the caving agreement, bad been committed by the replacing of two men on tho face. As the Hikurangi 1 Coal Company's mine is deeply flooded it cannot be worked for a long time. The position will be very serious if the strtko at \Vil3on's mine continues.
