One, of the rare occasions of Coolidge bum.our was reported to-day of the exPresident who has recently been signing many measures for the creation of game preserves; ■■ .
To-day, he signed as one of his last Bills a liieasuro carrying an appropriation for tile creation of a weekend retreat near Washington for the President. Mr. Coolidge remarked dryly that he congratulated Congress on its inclination to "treat the President with the same kind consideration it extends to our birds and other wild life.''
.Itis ■ now indicated that Mr. Coolidgc intends to devote his early days, oti . retirement to writing. His first article will appear next Friday in one of the Hearst magazines, and will be entitled, "On Entering and Leaving the Presidency/ This article will include, tho first explanation of why he did not '.' choose to run." ■.
