Lusk, the solicitor who wrote to him asking that the scope o£ the police aiiquiry should be enlarg-d. The telegram, which v arrived a few days ago, read:, "To save delay, I am telegraphing my reply .to your letter. I have instructed Mr. Cirrrio to" adhere to tho present order of reference. The Commissioner will decide who shall appear." \ . L
