SITTINGS CONCLUDED

AUCKLAND, This Day. After the conclusion of the evidence of the police inquiry yesterday, the Commissioner, Mr. E. Page, S.M., said that lie would give counsel an opportunity to address the Conimission if they desired to do so.
Mr. Allan Moody said that he had no intention of inflicting a '^frenzied eloquence" on the Commission, but he would like to be heard if the other counsel gave addresses. ; '
Mr..-A.,11. Johnstone suggested that a conference,of counsel should be held iir order that a repetition might be eliminated.
His Worship decided'to adjourn the Commission till 2.15 o'clock, when he would learn definitely whether or not counsel desired to address him. When the Commission resumed,, it was stated that no addresses would be given, and .the Commission closed. •"..■"
