JOHNSONVILLE SALE.
Messrs. Wright, Stcphenson and Co., Ltd;, and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held yesterday, as follows:— ■•■'..■., ...
"To the average attendance of butchers, we submitted a large yarding of cattle, sheep, and lambs. Considering the.lower range of values ruling for fat stock, the sale must be considered a good one. Competition for all classes o£ stock was keen except for: wethers, which were not in ■'demand. ■•'. The cattle offered .comprised good- etualjty- bullocks and cows, and a total clearance was effected at prices slightly easier than last week's rates. Sheep and lamb prices also showed a slight decline in sympathy with the recent fall in export values.
