PALMERSTON N., This Day.
The Dominion executive of the Protestant Political Association met here to-day. The reports presented showed that there had been considerable activity on the part of the organisers in various parts of t.., Dominion.
Consideration Was. given to the retirement of Mr. Howard Elliott. It was decided to appoint a successor immediately and conduct a vigorous campaign in all the Protestant Political Associations throughout the . Dominion. Arrangements were made to hold an annual conference of delegates here in June. .■'..'. A resolution was passed congratulating Sir William Nosworthy on the honour conferred upon him by the King.
