COOKS AND STEWARDS
The hearing of the dispute between tho Federated Cooks-and Stewards of Now Zealand Industrial Association and the coastal shipping companies was concluded in the Arbitration Court yesterday, decision being reserved.
Mr. T. 0. Bishop appeared for tho shipping companies, and 'Mr. E. Kennedy for tho union. Claims wero made for v minimum wage of £14 15s a month, and thore wero other claims similar to +hoso mado against tho Union Steam Ship Company during the last few days.
