MELBOURNE, Bth February. Objections to the registration of the Australian Seamen's Union promoted by T. Walsh have been lodged by the Commonwealth Steamship Owners' Association, the Seamen's Union of Australia, of. which T. Fleming is acting general secretary, the Waterside Workers' Federation, and the Marine Cooks' and Pantrymen's Union.

■Mr. Fleming's affidavit against registration mainly claims that Mr. Walsh's union' is not bona fide, and thatjh*existing Seamen's Union emjjfaces nearly five thousand members, Avhose interests already are adequately catered for.
