THE QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The new programme at the Queen's Theatre Is well up to the usual standard. Tho principal attraction is "Tho Phantom City," In which Ken Maynard and his horse Tarzan are starred. This Is a Western story based on somewhat unusual lines, in that an element of mystery has been Introduced which considerably increases'the entertainment value of tho picture. All the action takes place In a deserted town, and the empty buildings which once marked a busy mining location are filled once more with ghostly figures. A wandering cowboy and an Eastern girl come on tho sceno, and are at once mixed up In an amazing plot, the solution of which does not become apparetn until the final scenes. Suspenso Is tho keynote of "The Phantom City." Ken Maynard performs some wonderful stunt-riding, and he has a strong supporting cast, which includes Eugenia Gilbert, "Blue" Washington, and James Mason. The second picture is "Tho Night Patrol," with Richard Talmadgo in tho lead. Delightful, music is playoil by the orchestra.
