More about Peloue's district uurso was hoard' at last night's meeting of the Borough Council when the Eev. J. A. Lochoro, chairman of tho district ■nurse' committee, wi'oto asking for a subsidy. Tho writer' stated that the committee had already raised £100 and with the ■assistance) hoped for from the' council, a little nioro money to come in and- tho Hospital Board's subsidy, expected to have enough to finance the first year of the nurse's activities.
