Dryden's Corner, near the Karori cemetery, has been recognised for a long time past as too dangerous/for modern traffic, but no funds have been available for its improvement. The rounding of tho corner is now in hand as an unemployment relief work, though the amount of money available is not large enough to ensure a considerable improvement. Probably more funds will be transferred from tha savings, from other nearby relief works, so as to make a thorough job of the wWening. At present there is not room for a vehlofc between the ear line* and ttie bank; but the wor*. planned will*we ampte space.
