GRATIFYING REPORT
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FUNDS (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. At the sitting of tho Presbyterian General Assembly this morning tho treasurer, tho Rev. Mr. Comrie, said, that ho was glad to be able to announce that in spite of the depression iv tlio Dominion the church had received 99 per cent, of the amount budgeted. It came from tho congregations, bequests and various funds including interest. There was still a need for watchfulness, but it was gratifying to know that there was no need for any of their work to suffer. The missions could go on and know that the church would not fail them.
