MOTOR COLLISION
PASSENGERS INJURED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) TE KUITI, This Day. Three cars were involved in a motor collision which occurred between tho racecourse-and To Kuiti at 5.45 last night. A car, driven, by F. E. West, of Taumarunui, struck onp driven by Joe Hoe when attempting to pass. Hoe's car was. thrown oft' the road. West's struck another car driven by Innes Jones, coining iv the opposite direction. The four occupants of West's car sustained injuries. Sam Sarah, of Taumarunui, was sevcrly injured about tho head and suffered from shock. Cecil A. Boles, of Taumarunui, sustained injuries, to the head and face, cuts about I tho head And arms, and shock. Esmo Henderson, of Te Kuiti, was injured 1 on tlio shoulder bone and suffered minor injuries and shock. Jim Vujich suffered severe cut to the head and light arm, and shock. West was badly cut on the right arm. by broken glass. Reports thi,s morning show that all tho injured aro making satisfactory progress. West's and Jones's cars were badly damaged./ All had a remarkable escape.
