ESTABLISHING EMBASSIES Australian I'rcss Association. LONDON, 21st November. . Mr. M'Gilligan, Free State Minister of External Affairs, announced in tho Dail Eircunn that it was proposed to establish not merely trade representation, but embassies at Paris and Berlin. Tho policy was to maintain the position of co-equality expressed at the last Imperial Conference, and get rid of forms which in some Dominions did not correspond with that expression. • The Minister of Defence, when questioned as to whether Free State officers 'attending tho Imperial Military College were studying the strategy and dofence of the Empire, .and if as a result the Fr.oc State was committed to the dbfencc of the.Empire, replied in tho negative.
