At the annual meeting of the Nelson Swimming Centre, held last night, it was decided to endeavour to arrange for VVeismuller to visit Nelson and give exhibitions. ! The very marked increase o£ interest in I swimming here since the opening of the new Municipal Baths no doubt influences the officials of the centre to make every endeavour to still further stimulate interest, and the visit of a swimmer of Weismuller's standing would be an education to local swimmers. .. ■ The Nelson electoral roll contains 10,119 names, and of these 9035 voted.
