TRANSPORT PROCESSION

A feature of the transport procession to-morrow will be the display by the Rail\vay Department. Ten camouflaged vehicles will show railway progress in all its stages. On one will be seen the evolution of signalling apparatus; on another models of oid engines, etc. Another feature will be a real engine, the first to parade the streets of Wellington. Tableau will represent the Dominion's winter resorts and Kotoriia, other vehicles featuring cheeked luggago, refreshments, and a trade display by the workshop staff. There will be a sleeping car, too, from the back of which loud speakers will broadcast musical items. The whole staff has entered most enthusiastically into the project, which bi,ds_fair ty eclipse anything before seen in a street procession. Details are to be announced later of a competition for which prizes will be free railway trips over the holidays.
