A MISSIONARY VISITOR
The Rev. H. W. Whyte, M.A., of Jammalamadugu, South India, is this year's deputation tp New Zealand for the London Missionary Society. Mr. Whyte's experience Iri India extends to twenty yearsi He was appointed to. Vizagapatani in 1908; Gooty, 1910; and Jamrnalamadugti in 1019. Reports to hand sbow that Mr. Whyto has been having excellent meetings at Auckland and elsewhere. He is an cx; cellent lecturer and a very fluent speaker^ and with his lohg experience can throw much light on. questions affecting India. Mr. Whyte will be speaking tomorrow morning in The Teh-ace Congregational Church; in the afternoon af tlie Trinity Congregational Church, Lower Hutt; and in the evening at Newtown Congregational Church. The central meeting of the Series will be held at the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church next Tuesday evening. The welcome tea at 6 o'clock will be followed by a public meeting at 7.45 o'clock. The combined choirs from the local Congregational Churches will assist in the singing. Mr. Whytri will also speak at The Terrace on Wednesday, and on Thursday at Newtown a social evening will be held.
