WAIWETU LADIES' CLUB
Last Saturday the competition for the L.Gr.U. and- captain's trophy had to be abandoned owing to bad weather, and will bo played next Saturday. The draw is as follows: —Mrs.-Evison and Miss Lee; Miss Hickey and Miss Pomfrey; Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Findlay; Miss Milne and Mrs. Whitehead; Miss Walters . and Miss Hanson; Miss Matthews and Mrs. Hughes; Miss Hogg and Miss Findlay; Miss. Cochrane, partner to be arranged. : In .the.final of the Pulley' Cup, Miss M. Robinson beat. Miss Hogg, 1 up. In the semi-final of the senior championship, Mrs. Evison. beat Miss Robinson, 2 up, and Miss Walters beat Mrs. Adamson, ,3 and 2. In the junior championship, second round, Miss Hogg beat Miss Findlay, Mrs. Ryan beat Miss Milne, Mrs. Hughes beat Miss. Cochrane, and Miss Matthews beat Mrs.-Whitehead. In the semi-finals, Mrs. Byan beat Miss Hogg, and Miss Matthews beat Mrs. Hughes. All finals of championships *and two-life competition must be played next week-end.
