HOSPITAL RADIO FUND
Mr. R. Brown, secretary of the Wellington Hospital Board, reports having received the following additional subscriptions towards the fund, to extend the broadcast receiving equipment to the remaining wards of the hospital:— Amount already acknowledged, £31 2s; W. Scales, Ltd., £1; National Cash Register Co., £1; Dr. Wallace Mackenzie, £1; Dr. T. F. Corkill, £1: B. G. H. Burn, £1 Is; J. H. Helliwell, £1; A. Hamilton, £1; Sullivan, Evans, and Co., £1; Victoria Laundry, £1; H. J. Thompson, £1; "Heterodyne," per I. M. Levy, £1; A. Leigh Hunt, £1; Magnus Motors, £1; Victoria Bowling Club. £1; J. J. Boyd, £1; E. W. Acland, £1: T. B. Dwan, £1 Is; Italian Consul (M. Blunno), £1; M. A. Kirkcaldie, £1; National Electrical and Engineering Co., £1; Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, Bart., £1; total to date, £65 ss. Another £650 is required to defray the cost of the extension of the present installation.
