SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY,
The contract to a night at sea was seen in the bright surroundings when Miss P. Martin gave a successful concert to a big audience at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday. There were many encores. Light refreshments were dispensed. The performers were Messrs M. Chotc, Hale, V. Wilson, P. Martin, M. Martin, and Master J. Osborne. Misses M. Chote aud P. Martin were at the piano. Help for the competitions came from the hostess, who also presented outgoing crews with books.
